An Android TV and Google TV toolkit that removes bloat over Wi-Fi and installs an Apple TV-style home screen.

It disables unwanted packages instead of uninstalling them, so every cleanup has a recorded restore path. Connect to a TV over Wi-Fi, back it up, choose what to keep, and get a minimal replacement home screen. It includes tested lists for over 170 TV models; Fire TV supports debloating but not launcher replacement.

Under the hood

The project uses Wi-Fi ADB to back up a TV, disable selected packages rather than uninstall them, and install a separate native launcher only after it is confirmed as Home. The launcher reads local configuration and theme overlays, avoiding network access during configuration loading.
